Hayden Casey is a writer and musician currently living in Phoenix, AZ.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and an MFA in Fiction from Arizona State University. His short story collection, Show Me Where the Hurt Is, is forthcoming from Split/Lip Press in spring 2025. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Witness, West Branch, Bridge Eight, Bat City Review, Passengers Journal, Allium, and Yalobusha Review and was longlisted for the Dzanc Books Prize for Fiction and the Palette Chapbook Prize for poetry. He teaches writing at Arizona State University, where he was the 2024 recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Instructor Award.
